Remortgage and product switches
Your fix is ending. We compare a switch with your current lender against the whole market, and lock a new rate up to six months early.

Paid on completion. Product switches with your current lender are included.
A fixed rate is a promise about a number of months. When it ends you do not get a letter that says “you are about to pay £485 more a month”. You get a letter that mentions the standard variable rate somewhere on page two.
Switch with your lender, or move?
Your current lender will usually offer you a product transfer: a new rate, no new valuation, no solicitors, done in a few days. Sometimes that is the best deal available. Often it is not. We put the transfer next to the best rates from around ninety lenders, add up fees and incentives, and show you the cost over the new fix. If staying put wins, we arrange the switch, and the fee is the same.
Borrowing more
If you want to raise money for an extension, a new kitchen or to consolidate other borrowing, a remortgage is where it happens. We will show you the monthly cost of the extra money and, if you are consolidating, the total cost over the term, which is often higher than it looks.
The six-month window
Most lenders let you reserve a new product up to six months before your current one ends. We keep the end date of every deal we arrange and call you six months out, whether you asked us to or not.

How a remortgage case runs
-
Check the end date
We read your offer letter and early repayment charges, so the new deal starts the day the old one ends.
-
Switch or move?
We price a product transfer with your lender next to the best of the market and show you both.
-
Lock it early
Most lenders hold a rate for six months. If rates fall before you complete, we look again.
-
Completion
No gap on the lender's variable rate, not even for one month.

Book a free callRemortgage: common questions
- How early can I arrange my next deal?
- Most lenders let you secure a new rate up to six months before your current one ends. If rates fall in the meantime, we can usually move you to the lower one before completion.
- Is it cheaper to stay with my current lender?
- Sometimes. We compare your lender’s product transfer with the rest of the market, fees included, and arrange whichever is cheaper over the new fix. Our fee is the same either way.
- Can I borrow more when I remortgage?
- Yes, if your income and the value of your home support it. We will show you what the extra borrowing costs each month and over the whole term.
